New Delhi: Shifting the ball into the court of Home Ministry over the failure of intelligence agencies in Delhi bomb blast, the Congress on Wednesday said the Centre is striving hard to check the repeated terror attacks in the country.

At least 11 people died and over 76 injured in a bomb blast outside Delhi High Court on Wednesday.

Replying to a question of failure of intelligence agencies, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said it would be better to ask the Home Ministry in this regard.

Expressing condolence over the people who were killed in blast, Alvi said, “I can only pray to God that such incidents are not reported again.”

On being asked about repeated terror incidents, Alvi said the Centre is serious over the issue and will take stern action to avoid the repetition of such incident in the future.
