New Delhi: Not satisfied with the clean chit given by the Chief Secretary Anup Mukherjee in the alleged BIADA (Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority) land scam, the Congress has demanded a CBI probe into the controversial allotment of industrial land by the Authority.

Questions have been raised over allotment of plots by BIADA to the relatives of NDA ministers and bureaucrats at discounted rates.

The Congress, which is has lost its political ground in the state over the last two decades is aggressively trying to create a space for itself by raising its voice against the alleged BIADA scam.

The party has also decided to stage a sit-in (dharna) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Thursday.

Senior Congress leaders are expected to participate in the protest.  Bihar In-charge GS Charak, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, state Congress chief Mehboob Ali Quaiser, former President of Bihar Assembly Sadanand Singh, former state President Anil Sharma and Ramjatan Sinha are expected to join the protest.
