New Delhi: Expressing concern over the broad daylight firing incident outside a popular mall in Noida, Congress on Monday hoped Uttar Pradesh Government would get its act together to prevent such incidents in future.

"Law and order situation is a growing concern of our times and we should relook at the gun laws," party spokesperson Renuka Chaudhary told reporters in reply to a question.

"I am sure the government is getting their act together to ensure that these things are not repeated. It is not a comfortable situation. There is little we can do from here. We do express our concern and I am certain that they will get their act together," she said.

Two persons were injured when robbers opened fire outside Great India Place mall in Noida at around 2 pm on Monday, police said.
