It's a month since the assembly election results were announced and state unit chief Chandrabhan resigned from the post immediately. The party high command is yet to take a decision on his resignation.

Rajasthan unit in-charge Gurdas Kamat had earlier said that a decision in this regard was expected by December 31.

Besides, the first meeting of the newly elected Congress Legislature Party (CLP), which was slated for Tuesday to elect new leader, could not take place due to absence of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, a party spokesman said.

The party won 21 seats in the 200-member state assembly in the elections last year.
