Moga: On the last day of campaigning for Moga assembly by-poll, Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh on Thursday said that party candidate would register a convincing victory from the seat, causing a major setback to ruling SAD.

Amarinder said he did not rule out the possibility of elections to the Punjab assembly along with those for the Lok Sabha in 2014.

He claimed that Congress victory at Moga will come as a major blow to the Akali Dal. He claimed that Punjab assembly polls and Lok Sabha elections would be held simultaneously.

"So don't think your job is over, rather it has just begun," he told his workers repeatedly at a road show. The PCC Chief was accompanied by senior party leaders including Rana K P Singh, Rana Gurmeet Sodhi, Arvind Khanna, Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu, Malti Thapar, Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary among others.
