Senior party leaders are in touch with local leaders of Moradabad over the issue and her name has been introduced in the panel of district committee. If everything goes well, she could join the party by end of this month. It is expected that the party will announce her candidature from the constituency in second list of candidates.
After declaring Jaya Prada’s candidature, Congress high command will consider candidature of Kazim Ali Khan alias Naved Mian, son of Begum Noor Bano from Rampur. If Jaya Prada gets ticket from Moradabad, the party will field Naved from Rampur.
