Jaipur: Congress MLA from Luni Malkhan Singh Bishnoi, currently on a CBI remand in connection with the disappearance of midwife Bhanwari Devi case, has accepted before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that he used to meet Bhanwari at former Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mahipal Maderna’s farmhouse in Jaipur, says an official source.

According to Malkhan, former Minister Mahipal Maderna also used to accompany them at the farmhouse.

Meanwhile, the investigative agency had sent the blood samples of Bhanwari’s daughter, allegedly fathered by Malkhan, to Delhi for further probe. The CBI on Thursday conducted raids at several places, including Bilada, Tilwasni in connection with the case.

The CBI has been on a look out for the son and nephew of the main accused Sohanlal. The agency is also searching for Malkhan’s sister Indira Bishnoi in connection with the case.

According to reports, Indra was in constant touch with Bhanwari and had spoken to her frequently days before she went missing.

Till now, the CBI has arrested nine accused, including Mahipal Maderna, Malkhan Singh and Bhanwari's husband Amarchand in the case. The agency has been probing the abduction and suspected murder of the 36-year-old midwife-nurse, Bhanwari Devi.
