Rewari (Har): Senior Congress leader and party MP from Gurgaon, Rao Inderjit Singh on Sunday warned if the party brass does not expeditiously initiate firm steps to strengthen the party in Haryana, it could suffer heavy losses in the next parliamentary and state assembly elections.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Singh claimed that while the "rootless leaders are being given undue importance" in Haryana Congress", the long-pending appointment of a new HPCC Chief needed immediate attention of the party high command as well.

"I feel constrained to say that if the party brass does not expeditiously initiate firm steps to strengthen the party in Haryana, the party could suffer heavy losses here," Singh said.
