New Delhi: A Congress Lok Sabha representative from Porbandar, the birth place of god of peace Mahatma Gandhi, Vithal Radadiya, was on Thursday night caught on camera pulling out a gun and brandishing it at toll plaza employees near Vadorara.

The incident happened near a toll plaza at Karjan village, when Radadiya’s car was stopped at a toll booth here.

When the driver showed Radadiya's identification card, the toll booth attendant demanded to see the original identification card of the lawmaker. Later, Radadia stepped out of the car and threatened to shoot the toll employee.

The sources say that the Congress MP refused to apologise his act of threatening toll plaza staff, justifying his action by saying he acted in self defence.

A complaint has been filed with the local police in this regard.
