The party held a camp at Malviya Nagar area here and sold onions on wholesale rate.

PCC vice president Archana Sharma informed that 1,000 kg onion was purchased by the party at Rs 40 per kg, and was sold at the same price.

The initiative was taken as a protest against the government's non-action to control the price and to provide relief to people, she said.

PCC president Sachin Pilot also targeted the government over inflation and said that there was no action on hoarding that is leading to the price rise.
