New Delhi: Asking Congress to come clean on the the allegations levelled against Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, BJP leader Smriti Irani on Saturday said her party suspected there will not be an impartial probe into the matter.

She said BJP will raise the issue but asked Congress to answer the nation on the issue. "It is expected that when such a humongous scam is brought to fore, there will be investigation but given Congress' response to such matters, one cannot say with confidence that a very balanced and a very thorough investigation will take place," Irani told reporters.

She "it is for Congress to respond to the nation as to why Robert Vadra, being the son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi, managed to benefit monetarily from a company".

Irani said she had never seen a consumer take an unsecured loan from a builder to purchase a flat in the builder's compound. "Find me one flat buyer in the entire country who has received such support and such facility from a builder," she said.

Viewing rise in prices including that of LPG as "anti- women", she said BJP will hold nation-wide protest on October 12 during which the party will also raise the issue of scams that have hit the government.

Irani, who is BJP mahila morcha President, said the decision was taken at the BJP National Council meeting to protest against the "anti-women" steps taken by the government.

"It was decided at the BJP National Council that Mahila Morcha wing of the party will protest against this anti-women policy of Congress-led UPA. Hence, on October 12, the anniversary of our leader Vijayaraje Scindia, Mahila morcha will organise protests all over the country," Irani told reporters here on Saturday.

On the issue of scams, Irani charged Congress has adopted the policy of 'deniability' whatever scam it may be. "But the truth will not remain covered." she said.

"We are hoping that across the country through the efforts of mahila morcha, the anger that women have due to the rising prices of LPG, due to the cap on LPG, can be put forth to the Congress-led UPA government," Irani said.

She alleged people do not have any faith left in the Prime Minister who promised that he would bring prices under control within 100 days of coming to power.

"Since the PM has not fulfilled his promise, there is doubt in the minds of people that if he can be believed for controlling prices. Then, what is the need for a government which does not enjoy the confidence of the people"? she said.

She said a number of top BJP leaders will come in support of Mahila Morcha workers, with Leaders of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley along with former party president M Venkaiah Naidu supporting them in their protest in Delhi.

She said former BJP president Rajnath Singh will protest at Rohtak, party's national vice president and Mahila Morcha incharge Karuna Shukla, along with J P Nadda, will protest in Raipur, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Santosh Gangwar and Yogi Nityanand in Uttar Pradesh and Vasundhara Raje Scindia at Jaipur.
