New Delhi: Despite two rounds of negotiations, the deadlock between the two political bigwigs of Congress in Haryana including Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Cabinet Minister Captain Ajay Yadav still persists.

Following which, senior Congress leaders have intervened in the issue to end the chasm between two stalwarts.

On Thursday last, the CM had divested Yadav from the charge of Finance and Irrigation Minister, and named him as the new Power Minister of the state.

Annoyed over the fact, Yadav has refused to take over the new charge and has sought an appointment from the party high command to discuss the issue.

In the past few days, the two Congress leaders have met twice but failed to arrive on a compromise.

Sources said Yadav spoke to party in-charge of Haryana, BK Hariprasad about the issue. Thereafter, Hariprasad had a word with Haryana CM, and consulted the issue with Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Ahmed Patel.
