According to senior Congress leaders, the grand rally will witness an audience of over 50000 people. Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice- president Rahul along with party's top rung will  address the rally.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Arvinder Singh Lovely and Legislative Party Leader Harun Yusuf are preparing for the grand event with full zeal and enthusiasm.

A party leader said that Ramlila ground is a historic place and Congress has chosen it as the venue for its rally to give a message that they should not underestimate the grand old party.

The Congress has claimed that this rally will change the face of campaigning in the national capital. As per the political pundits, the people of Delhi are in doldrums over whom to vote in the coming elections.

The Lok Sabha election debacle and successive assembly poll defeats, dampened the morale of Congress workers. In this lean period with mounting on this rally, the party wants to tell people that no matter it is not in the power but its vote bank is still intact.

Flaying Aam Aadmi Party's campaign, the Congress said last time it was us who were busy campaigning and the AAP was working in its constituencies but this time the situation is totally opposite.

According to the poll analysts, the Congress this time seems very serious about its campaigning in Delhi as the senior party leaders have reminded Arvinder Singh lovely to make sure that the electioneering should be effective and efficient. In the view of this, the party is gearing up to kickstart its campaign for Delhi polls.
