New Delhi: The findings of Jaipur Chintan Shivir will be the Congress manifesto for Lok Sabha elections in 2014. Amid the present political situation, the Congress itself is in hurry to go to early parliamentary polls.
The Congress will send message to the party workers through the Chintan Shivir. The party will also find the political solution to end subsidy.
There will be five sessions in the Chintan Shivir. During which, political and socio-economic challenges are likely to be discussed. The Congress leaders will also moot on finding new allies for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
The Congress leaders will brainstorm on pumping more funds into the social sector schemes by scraping subsidies on various schemes such as cooking gas, diesel and petrol.
Government machinery has succeeded in convincing the Congress that subsidy goes in the pocket of middlemen rather than reaching weaker section of the society.
Given the current economic situation, the government will face trouble in continuing any scheme more than a year. Therefore, the government is gearing up to go to polls in November 2013.
