Gwalior: The sudden spurt in the number of cases regarding the duping of people by Chit Fund companies has given the state Congress unit the long awaited opportunity to target its arch-rival and ruling party in Madhya Pradesh – the Bharatiya Janata Party. Raking up the issue, Congress legislators have decided to raise the issue in state assembly to target the BJP government.

In wake of the aggressive approach of Congress leaders on this issue, the district authorities have started compiling each and every detail related to the Chit Fund fraud.

Action has been already initiated against three dozen Chit Fund companies allegedly involved in fraudulent activities for the last four months in the Gwalior Division.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court ordered to conduct CBI inquiry into the alleged fraudulent activities of the Chit Fund companies that have duped thousands of investors.

Few days back, former MP Chief Minister and Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh had said some members of the state Cabinet are allegedly linked with the Chit Fund companies.

Now, three Congress legislators Govind singh, Ram Nivas Rawat and KP Singh have decided to target the BJP government through this issue. In an effort to counter the allegations to be leveled by the Congress, the state government has passed orders to compile all details related to the fraud.
