New Delhi: As the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections is inching closer, the major party Congress is leaving no stone unturned to woo the game changer ‘Muslim vote bank’, and project its trump card, Rahul Gandhi, as the most appropriate leader for them.

As per the sources, after playing sub-quota card, the party has framed a roadmap to maximise its success rate in the electorally crucial Uttar Pradesh by encashing the Muslim support from the region.

Alike its arch rival BJP’s political remix ‘Kamlaveri Di’, the Congress is also going to drive its voters through traditional qawwali.

The lyrics is based on the Congress punchline ‘Utho, Jago, Badalo Uttar Pradesh’ (rise, awaken and change) for this year’s poll campaign.

The song that begins as “Aaye aaye Rahul ji aaye, Congress ko jitane aaye” aims at projecting Gandhi as a ‘Messiah' for the minorities and weaker section of the society.

The party has also launched a scathing attack on its arch rivals BJP, BSP and SP through this song.

Turning guns at the saffron party, the lyrics of the song say, “Aatanki kahe humko, aatank khud karate; bahut darai wo, mere zakhm dikhai wo, ek boot banwai aur ek pragati se bhage…”

The cover of Qawwali video is also inscribed in Urdu language. The number will be circulated to the poll bound regions especially in the Muslim dominated areas on Monday to ascertain the party’s electoral victory.
