Patna:Alleging irregularities in the intra-party election held for the post of delegates, Congress workers from Bihar's Saharsa district on Tuesday demonstrated at the party office here.

Raising slogans against their state unit president Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser, party's district unit vice-president Arun Singh and his supporters congregated at Sadakat Ashram and shouted

slogans against Kaiser and alleged that he was not made a delegate despite paying money to some party leaders. Singh claimed that he had paid money to former NSUI state unit president Keshar Singh and other leaders like Motilal Sharma and Bhallu in lieu of being nominated as delegate.

Kaiser was not present at the party office at the time of the demonstration by the party workers from his native district.


However ,the state unit Congress chief was not available for comment in this regard.
