The protesters, led by former Delhi Assembly Speaker and Congress leader Prem Singh, raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal.
Congressmen assembled near Khanpur Chowk on Saturday morning and blocked the roads, causing traffic jam for more than an hour.

Addressing the party workers, Singh accused the Modi-led government of failing to check price rise and said the people of Delhi were experiencing ‘very bad days’ instead of the 'acche din' promised to them by BJP.
Hitting out at the AAP leader, Singh said, "Arvind Kejriwal is working hand-in-glove with the BJP. He met the President to divert the attention of the people from problems such as price rise, power and water crisis."

“Congress party would never support AAP again,” he added.
