Lucknow: Launching a scathing attack on Uttar Pradesh government, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav said that the Centre and BSP government are hand in gloves in looting Bundelkhand.

In an effort to woo all sections of societies while holding public rallies in Chitrakoot, Banda and Fatehpur he said, “Unlike the SP, the BSP led state government has never fulfilled its promises.”

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday said he planned to develop Chitrakoot in UP's Bundelkhand region and promised to turn the barren land of Chitrakoot into a fertile terrain.

Trying to woo the Muslim voters he said, “Centre would be pressurised to implement the recommendations made by the Sachchar Committee.” Even if Centre delays implementation of the recommendations made by the Sachchar Committee, SP would give 12 percent reservation to the community, he added.

Mulayam said, “Centre’s step to give 4 percent sub-quota to the Muslims is complete eyewash.” He added, if SP is voted back to power then 17 backward castes would be included in the OBC list.
