New Delhi: The problems for Robert Vadra seem to be mounting with each passing day. Adding another row in the case, Corporation bank has now insisted that it did not advance an overdraft to any of Robert Vadra's companies.

Robert Vadra, in 2007-2008 acquired a 3.5 acre plot in Manesar. An English business daily has published a clarification made by Corporation bank regarding the advances made to Vadra’s company. The bank said ‘No such transaction is with us as per our records so far’. The English daily has also published Vadra’s balance sheet. According to the balance sheet of Vadra’s company account in Corporation bank, company got an overdraft of Rs 7 crore 94 lakh. The balance sheet also holds the signature of Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra, both the directors of the company.

After the clarifications made by Corporation bank now a question do arise that who is lying in this case. Is it the bank or Robert Vadra?  If corporation bank did not advance any overdraft to Vadra’s firm how did it appear on his balance sheet? And how did he pay the first installment of the plot acquired in Manesar?
