Patna: Even before the start, LK Advani’s Jan Chetna Yatra has stirred up the hornet’s nest in the country. CPI (Marxist) has decided to oppose Advani’s yatra in Bihar from the very first day.

In order to mark their protest, CPI (M) will stage demonstration on the day of JP Jayanti on October 11.

Addressing a press conference, unit secretary of the party, Vijaykant Thakur said that the rath yatra is being used as a catalyst by the BJP to return back to power. Supporting his stand, Thakur added, “The route chart of the rath yatra covers mainly the minority dominated belts as the saffron party wants to win the confidence of minorities.”

Thakur claimed that the BJP top brass themselves are involved in corruption cases. From Tehlaka to Hawala, the wrongdoings of BJP leaders in Karnataka and Uttarakhand are not under cover, he added.

Meanwhile, the Communist party has decided to start state-wide movement from November 1 against the problems prevalent in Bihar.
