Chamba: CPI (M) has decided to contest 22 of the 68 seats in the coming Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh.

State party secretary Kashmir Singh Thakur said the CPI-M would contest the elections in close coordination with CPI. The CPI-M has already decided to join the newly formed Lok Morcha in the state which would be projected as the third alternative for the people of state, he said.

Alleging that both BJP and Congress were corrupt and engaged in a "friendly match" to befool voters, he said CPI-M would expose the "nexus" in the polls.
