Hooghly: Taking the problems of farmers and soaring food prices into account, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Lennist) has blown bugle against Mamata Banerjee led West Bengal government.

In the two day conference of Agricultural Labourers Committee in Belmuri village under Hooghly district on Wednesday, the party members decided to highlight the important issue and protest against the government.

Sajal Adhikari was elected as the new committee Secretary in the conference.

The party leaders have also called for party members to ‘Singur Chalo Abhiyan’ on December 2.

Among the senior party leaders present in the conference were state party Sectretary Partha Ghosh and Kartik Pal.
