Kolkata: Attacking the Trinamool Congress government in the state, former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya said that we could not buckle down before any violence and terror menace.

Stating that the Left Front will brave all odds, Bhattacharya said, “The Trinamool party wants us to leave the ground but we will not do so, Rather our party workers are ready to face any challenge.”

Speaking on the sidelines of a function organised by the youth wing of the CPM, Bhattacharya said, “Several CPM party workers have been killed within four months after the new government came into being. Even after Left winning student union elections, they were thrown out of the union office.”

The senior leader called on the CPM students and youth units to raise their voices against the political injustice and to fight for indiscretion.

Bhattacharya also questioned the modus operandi of the Trinamool government and said no one had any information about the state’s budget.

Without naming West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bhattacharya raised a question that how would jobs be generated for 10 lakh youth and from where will the fund be managed for it?
