Jaipur: IPS officer Madhusudan Singh, who was under treatment after being critically injured in a road accident in June this year, passed away at a hospital. His last rites were performed at Chandpole crematorium and were attended by police and administrative officials among others.

Condoling Singh's death, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot laid a floral wreath at his residence in Banipark area on Thursday.     Posted as IG (Vigilance), 58-year old Singh was injured
in the accident that took place near Jaisalmer.

He was treated in Jodhpur and Delhi, before being hospitalised in Jaipur some time back, sources said.
