New Delhi: The prestigious Hindi newspaper Dainik Jagran, which ranks no 1 in terms of readership, has added a new feather in its cap by acquiring the top position in terms of circulation too.
Bilingual newspaper of this group, i-next has become the most circulated newspaper in this category.
This has been confirmed by the latest data released by Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) for the period between July and December 2012. ABC’s fresh data suggest that the Times of India continues to maintain no 1 position among English newspapers.
ABC certifies and audits the circulations of major publications, including newspapers and magazines in India. Its recent data suggest that the total circulation of all the Hindi newspapers across the country is pegged at 15,090,503 whereas the total circulation of Hindi magazines has reached to 12,09,137. The total circulation of English newspapers and magazines is estimated at 90,96,172 and 7,11,431respectively.
