Under the ‘Bharat Raksha Parva’, an initiative launched by world’s largest read newspaper Dainik Jagran, the rakhi and messages are being sent for the troops deployed along the border. Bharat Raksha Rath is being taken out through three different routes in the country to deliver your rakhi to the soldiers guarding the border.

A programme was organized by Dainik Jagran under ‘Bharat Raksha Parva’ in the national capital. On the occasion, many school children visited Rajputana Rifles Regiment at Delhi Cantt to tie rakhi on the wrist of soldiers.
They not only tied rakhi on their wrist but also presented rakhi and extended greetings for the soldiers stationed along the border.

A  Rakhi is the symbolic holy thread which a sister ties ceremoniously on the wrist of her brother as a mark of the revered bondage between them.
