New Delhi: Your favourite Hindi daily Dainik Jagran has added another feather in its cap by clinging on to the top spot for the 23rd consecutive time.

In the second quarter of 2012, the paper has added 12 lakh new readers taking the total number to a whopping 5.63 crore.

According to an IRS survey for the year 2012, the Hindi Daily has 1.8 crore more readers in comparison to its nearest rival.

Dainik Jagran has become the highest read daily even among the higher middle class of the society. It has managed a readership of 1.12 crore in this section and the total number of readers for this Hindi Daily and magazines published by this group has gone up to 6.09 crore during the first quarter of 2012. With this achievement, it has also become the largest read publishing house.

Not only this, the paper has been awarded the status of consumer super brand as well as business super brand.

Also, Dainik Jagran has been considered as the most trusted newspaper in an independent survey carried out by BBC-Reuters.
