New Delhi: Our favourite Hindi daily Dainik Jagran with 5.6 crore readers has added another feather in its cap by retaining the top position for 24th consecutive time.

In the third quarter of 2012, with an increase of 45, 000 new readers it has gone to its credential again by attaining the status of largest read daily in the newspaper world.

According to IRS survey for the third quarter of 2012, the Hindi Daily has moved far ahead with its rivals having 1.7 crore more readers. Dainik Jagran is crowned with the status of Consumer Super Brand and Business Super Brand on account of increase in the percentage of number of readers and better in respect of third quarter.

Dainik Jagran is considered the most trusted source of news information in the print media according to an independent survey conducted by BBC-Reuters.

However, the total readership of all the publications of Dainik Jagran group including magazines has significantly reached 6.9 crore, making it the most read in India.
