Rohtak: The ‘Haryana ke Number 1’ programme kicked off by Dainik Jagran group concluded with much pomp and show on Sunday night.
The programme started with lighting the lamp by Rohtas Range IG V Kamraja and Chief General Manager-cum-Resident Editor, Dainik Jagran, Nishikant Thakur. Thakur also laid wreath on the pictures of Jagran Group’s founder Late Puran Chandra Gupta and former Editor-in-Chief Late Narendra Mohan.
Welcoming the gathering on the occasion, Thakur said, “Dainik Jagran religiously keeps its readers abreast about latest and credible facts.”
“We are proud of conducting ‘Haryana ke No 1’ programme successfully for the second time,” he added.
Special guest MP Dipendra Hooda appreciated the efforts and chief guest Kamraja said that people should extend support in fight against corruption.
On the occasion, Thakur also honoured MP Navin Jindal, Rajesh Jain of Rohtas and Surendra Gupta of Karnal with Haryana ratna awards.
