New Delhi: The board meeting of Delhi Development Authority, which is headed by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Tejendra Khanna, decided to form a committee to help people build houses in the village areas of Delhi.

The committee comprising DDA engineers, MCD chief engineer, legislators Subhash Chopra and Dr Harsh Vardhan would help pass house maps and ease out other formalities.

Specifying the problems of Lal Dora residents, Dr Harsh Vardhan said that housing laws and rules would be made easy.

According to sources in DDA, the houses made in unauthorized colonies with not violating fire safety norms and other housing guidelines would be regularised.
