Nangal: Launching a scathing attack on the BJP, former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Virbhadra Singh said that the saffron brigade is neck deep in corruption. He said that corruption in the BJP and developmental work done by the Congress will be the main issues in the upcoming elections in the state.

Concerned over the pollution created by industrial areas of Punjab bordering Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra said that concrete steps need to be taken in this regard.

Virbhadra Singh who was on a short visit to the town said that even though Himachal Pradesh will get economic benefits from the  Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) after the Supreme Court’s order, the Congress will try that the state has a strong participation in the board. 

The Union Minister discussed the problems faced by the displaced people living near the Pong Dam with AB Aggrawal the Chairman of  BBMB who assured him of a solution in this regard.
