Resuming the day at 63/5 while chasing a target of 376, Haryana were bowled out for 270 despite a fighting display by the lower batting order.

Avi Barot (12) got out cheaply in the morning session but Sachin Rana (86 not out) and Jayant Yadav (60) struck a brilliant 117-run partnership for the seventh wicket to take the visitors close to the 200-run mark.

Yadav was bowled by left armer Varun Sood but all-rounder Joginder Sharma (35) combined with Rana to put another 63-runs on the scoreboard before the Sharma perished. It took Delhi another couple of overs to bowl out neighbours Haryana and bag six points for the win.

Delhi now sit in fourth position in the points table with nine points while Haryana are eighth and second last.

The next round starts on November 28 with Haryana taking on Punjab at home while Delhi face Odisha away at Sambalpur on December 6.

In another Group A match at Cuttack, Odisha beat Jharkhand by nine wickets to record their first win of the season.
