Lovely and other Congress leaders today met the agitating contract workers of various departments of Delhi Government, and said the AAP-led government was trying to run away from the agitating employees by covering their faces.
"It was indeed very surprising that in a bid to shield its own guilty minister, the Chief Minister sat on a dharna, but he doesn't have time to meet these agitating employees," Singh said in a statement.
Education Minister Manish Sisodia had on Thursday said that if the protest by contractual employees did not stop, the government would have no option but to get new staff to replace the agitating teachers and bus drivers.
Meanwhile, the contract teachers on Thursday called off their dharna. They had been sitting on the dharna outside the Delhi Secretariat for the past 15 days, demanding regularization of their jobs.
