New Delhi: Whether former chief of Common Wealth Games (CWG) Organising Committee Suresh Kalmadi would get bail or not will now be decided on May 13. A Delhi court on Monday deferred his bail plea till May 13 for hearing.

Suresh Kalmadi was arrested on April 25 for his alleged involvement in the CWG scam. He was remanded to CBI custody till May 4 after he was produced before the court on April 26. Later, he was sent to the  judicial custody.

Kalmadi is facing charges under several Sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) including Section 120 (B) for criminal conspiracy, 420 for Cheating, 467 for Forgery of valuable security, 468 for mischief and 471 for using a forged document etc.

Meanwhile, Kalmadi, the latest high-profile entrant at Tihar Central Jail, is not getting any VIP treatment in India's largest prison and has made no special requests either.

Till now, seven people including Kalmadi, have been arrested in connection with the Commonwealth Games scam.

Among others who have been arrested include former CWG- OC officials Lalit Bhanot, Sanjay Mohindroo, M Jayachandran, TS Darbai and Kalmadi's personal assistant Shekhar Deorukhkar.
