The Lt Governor also transferred seven inspectors of Delhi Police to the ACB, days after AAP government inducted five police officers from Bihar in the elite probe agency.

The inspectors who have been transferred to ACB are Braj Mohan, Kumar Kant Mishra, Vivekanand Jha, Rajkumar, Rajendra Prasad, Ricchpal Singh Meena and Puran Chand.

Meena is currently serving as Joint Commissioner of New Delhi range and the LG's order said he has been given additional charge of ACB. The ACB was till now headed by S S Yadav.

Earlier, an Additional Commissioner-level officer used to head ACB but the LG has elevated the rank of head of the probe agency from Additional Commissioner to Joint Commissioner.

Jung and the AAP government have been on a collision course on a number of issues including authority over ACB.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia slammed Jung for creating a new post of Joint Commissioner and questioned all the appointments. He also alleged a conspiracy behind the move.

In a veiled attack on LG Najeeb Jung, without naming him, the Deputy CM tweeted, "Was the appointment of new ACB chief done out of fear over opening of CNG fitness scam files?"

In a series of tweets Sisodia wrote, "What is the hurry behind constituting a post of Joint Commissioner in ACB? What is the conspiracy behind posting one's favourite man and asking him to join in the night itself?"

The AAP government last week had appointed three inspectors and two sub-inspectors of Bihar Police to the ACB.
