"My opinion is that the Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung is working as a Congress agent and is trying to spoil the image of Aam Aadmi Party. The minute, the letter reaches the Lt. Governor it gets leaked to the media," Ashutosh said.

The comment came after media reports appeared that Jung had sought the Solicitor General's opinion on the Lokpal Bill, which the Delhi Cabinet has cleared and was told that the bill is required to go to the Lt. Governor's office and needs the Union government's clearance before it is implemented.

Solicitor General Mohan Parasaran on his part said, "I am not bothered about politics. We have only given our opinion based on the constitutional position. Therefore, it is for the Lt. Governor to consider it and possibly act as he thinks.”

The Delhi Cabinet, which cleared the draft of the anti-graft Delhi Lokpal Bill, 2014, on Monday, is expected to pass the bill in a special Assembly session at the Indira Gandhi Stadium here on February 16.
