“Metro services will resume 2 pm onwards on all lines and will continue thereafter normally,” said the official.

The Metro feeder bus services will not be available for the whole day on Holi.

Commuters in Delhi Metro have complained about the nuisance of drunken passengers. The Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) had recently made it clear that they would not allow completely drunk people to travel in the metro.

This decision by the CISF has come up as a reprieve for travellers, especially women as the probability of people in completely incoherent state boarding the Metro on Holi is quite high.
