Urging people, especially the women, to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who has declared former IPS officer Kiran Bedi as its Chief Ministerial candidate for the February 7 assembly polls, Lekhi said the party had numerous plans that could be implemented only if it came to power.

"We need a woman Chief Minister with administrative experience who can better understand the problems that the women of this city are facing," Lekhi, the head of the BJP's committee constituted to address issues faced by Delhi women, said here.

"We have many plans to improve the safety measures for women but we can implement them only if we come to power," she added.
