New Delhi: Delhi Police will contribute Rs 1 crore from its personnel's salaries to Prime Minister's Relief Fund for Uttarakhand flood victims.

"We have decided to contribute Rs 1 crore from the salaries of our personnel to Prime Minister's Relief Fund for those affected by the devastating flash-floods in Uttarakhand," Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar said on Monday.

Several security and other organizations have also pledge part of their salaries for the rescue and relief operations in the hill state.
