New Delhi: Adding another chapter to the disgraced history of capital city, three murders during the last 24 hours have left Delhi shocked. Two murders were reported from South-West district while another took place in outer Delhi. Killers even tried to mutilate two dead bodies. Body of a young man has been identified whose genitals were cut off after the murder. Police suspects infidelity as the reason behind the murder.  However, two other bodies have still not been recognized.

As per Sagarpur police, about 6:40 am on Friday, police recovered a body from a drain near Durga Park, Road no. 33. The body has been identified as that of one Banka (23), from Bihar. During further investigation it was revealed that youth was living in a rented apartment near Prabhas drain.  Blood stains were found even on the floor and walls of his room.

Neighbours informed the police that he was living with a friend and his wife. But, few days back his wife went back to her village and his friend too went missing under mysterious circumstances. Both were working as small time labourers.

Police has held his friend as the prime suspect of the murder and claimed that he was even captured in a CCTV footage of a nearby shop.

According to Deputy Commissioner Anil Kumar Ojha, police is trying to match the CCTV footage with victim’s friend.

Police also recovered a dead body on Thursday night from Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar supposedly of a 25-year-old young man.

For the time being Police has kept the body in Babu Jag Jivan Ram Hospital of the city.
