New Delhi: In a bid to showcase the national capital’s historical significance, Delhi Tourism Department is all set to organize various programmes which will display Delhi’s various cuisines, Punjabi gatherings and adventure tourism festival.

Manish Chatrath, Chairman of Delhi Tourism Corporation said, “Since the capital was transferred from Kolkata to Delhi. Hence, we are organizing many programmes to make Delhiites familiar with our own art and culture.”

Cuisine festival will be organized from December 3 to 11. It will incorporate many cultural programmes and a number of cuisines from Chandni Chowk.

Apart from this, Punjabi gathering will be organized at Dilli Haat from December 3 to 4 while tourism adventure programme will continue from December 9 to 11.

GG Saxena, Managing Director of Delhi Tourism Department said, “On this occasion, kite flying will be organized at India Gate in addition to magic shows at Delhi Haat and Qawwali programmes.
