The AISF activists on Wednesday took out a march from Arts Faculty in North Campus. Later, the students organized a dharna and a public meeting against the university administration’s decision to implement FYUP from the current session.

AISF worker Satyam said that more than 2 weeks have passed since the commencement of new academic session. It’s high time for students to fight for their rights, otherwise they will suffer a lot, added Satyam.

The AISF also criticized incumbent Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) office bearers for being silent on genuine causes of the university students.

AISF’s Delhi unit state secretary Amit Kumar, who led a delegation to call on the DU administration, said that the university is now acting against the students.

He demanded immediate scrapping of FYUP and restoration of previous three year bachelor course.
