New Delhi: Dense fog continued to create havoc with Delhi-bound trains as more than 30 trains were running late by several hours and about 20 trains cancelled by railways.

While Rewa Express was running 33 hours late, Mahabodhi Express and Purshottam Express were behind the schedule for 24 hours and 20 hours respectively.

The schedule of premier trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto trains were also badly affected due to the foggy condition in the northern region.

Bhubaneswar Rajdhani and Bhopal Shatabdi were running late by 15 hours and four hours respectively, according to a senior Northern Railway official.

Services of as many as 21 trains including Kalka Mail, Lal Qila Express, Patna Rajdhani and Poorvotar Sampark Kranti Express were cancelled because of bad weather condition.
