New Delhi: Dell, the world's second largest computer-maker, is fast spreading its wings in India. The company is not just planning to employ more people but also eager to invest more. The annual revenue of the company in India is approaching USD 2 billion.

While speaking at FICCI auditorium, Dell Chief Executive Officer Michael Dell said that there is a huge scope for computer-makers in India where there is a demand for new technology. He even said that Dell is planning to render its services in Retail, Health, Banking and Education sectors which has already started its business in the telecom sector.

The CEO said that the company is planning to expand its business by hiring more people which is at present 23,000. He said that after the company launched its product in India in an improvised form, there was an increase in sales. 

Elaborating on data, he said that only one out of every 30 Indians have a personal computer. After HP, Dell takes the second place in computer manufacturing.
