A lot was  expected from Dempo after their fine performance in the Federation Cup but injuries to their key players have taken a toll for the five-time I-League champions as they are lying ninth with nine points from 10 matches.

Now that their players are fit except Narayan Das and Proney, they would look to win tomorrow against struggling Sporting Clube de Goa which will help them move up the ladder.

On the other hand, Sporting Clube de Goa, who are lying at the bottom with five points from 11 matches, would look for their first win after strengthening their strike force with the inclusion of Odafe Okolie.

They have received a setback when their reliable striker Anthony  Wolfe got injured in the last match and will not play on Saturday.

Sporting Clube de Goa coach Mathew Costa said, "Wolfe injury is a setback but we will take things in our stride and play to our potential and hopefully get our first win tomorrow. Now that our team is settled, a couple of wins will change things in our favour."

Dempo assistant coach Aaron Simon said, "Injuries have affected our team performance and the absence of Tolgay Ozbey was also felt as we lacked a clinical finisher which saw team loosing crucial points.

"Now that the players are fit and Tolgay Ozbey too will play in the latter part of the match, we are expecting to collect full points tomorrow," stated Simon.
