Vadodara: The railway traffic on Delhi-Mumbai route was affected on Monday after three wagons of a goods train derailed at Miyagam–Karjan railway station near here this evening. Latest News from India News Desk
Uday Shankar Jha, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Vadodara division of Western Railway, said the derailment occurred around 5 pm, and two trains -- 6531 Ajmer- Bengaluru and Dohad Intercity -- had been held up at Vadodara.
The traffic on down side (Mumbai–Delhi) route had been restored, he said, adding that Delhi–Mumbai line would be cleared within a couple of hours.
