Ranchi: Playing blame-game is nothing new for political parties in the Centre. And this trend seems to have percolated to the states as well with the Jharkhand government passing on the buck to anti-social elements and blaming them for hatching conspiracy which led to the Dhanbad firing incident.

The State Home Department has claimed that attempts are being made to create lawlessness and disorder in the entire region. In a press conference presided over by Home Secretary Jebi Tubid and Jharkhand DGP G S Rath, it was communicated to the media that the police firing in Ranchi a few days back during the anti-encroachment drive which claimed two lives and the recovery of bomb in the city point towards some kind of conniving against the government.

However, the officials during the media interaction on Thursday here assured immediate action in the mater and unearthing of the anti-social elements who are trying to disrupt peace in the state. Though hinting towards some political leaders for the tension created in Jharkhand, they abstained from naming anyone directly.

To bring their point to a logical acceptance, the official duo pointed out that the recovery of country made bullets and weapons from the Dhanbad firing proves the hand of anti-social elements behind the incident who want to make hay while the sun shines.

“Extra forces are being sent to Dhanbad from the police headquarters and the curfew is being reviewed. The situation is now under control.” said the officials.
