Says a source, "Contrary to reports, the film will not incorporate any of his personal and professional milestones post the 2011 World Cup. That is the best possible ending since the makers wanted to conclude the film on a high note."

The biopic, directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring Sushant Singh Rajput, is currently in post-production and its first trailer will be unveiled during the World T20 match between India and Pakistan at Dharamsala next month.

The spokesperson for the film was unavailable for comment, but a source working on the project confirms the story, saying, "There are no additions to the film after the historic World Cup win. The film will largely show Dhoni's early life and struggle to the top because that’s what is inspiring and the makers want to cash in on that. They are now considering including a special message from the cricket star for his fans."
