New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was on Tuesday adjourned till noon after members from various parties disrupted its proceedings.

As soon as the lower house of parliament assembled, CPI-M members advanced to the speaker's podium demanding rollback of the diesel price hike. Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party members too advanced over the killing of a Uttar Pradesh Police officer.

Congress members from Punjab raised slogans against the state's Akali Dal government. Failing to restore order, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the house till noon.
